In his most recent work, Rami Be'er confronts some of the burning issues on the international stage: refugeehood, immigration, and the fate of asylum seekers. Approaching the issue from an existential point of view, Be’er examines concepts related to immigration such as “homeland,” identity, belonging, foreignness, longing, and home – concepts that are relevant to every person. The sense of refugeehood is an existential experience, and part of our search for home and identity.
