SONGS& BORDERS أغاني& وحدود هو مشروع متعدد الثقافات يجمع بين ست نساء ناشطات ومحاربات، كل بطريقتها، في شمالي البلاد- في الجليل الأعلى والجولان.
انبثق المشروع عن رغبة للتعمق بالقصص، الأشعار والتقلبات بغية خلق مساحة يمكن الاستماع بها الى أصوات مختلفة. أصوات تتواجد تحت سطح الأرض، تحت الحجر، بجانب عتبة الباب، بين الحدود. معاً نتعلم كيف تنتج المعرفة وتتمثل في الجسد الخاص، نتحدى الحدود الفردية والجماعية، نتمعن بالروايات المختلفة في المشهد السياسي ونتشارك الحاحها الانساني كما ينعكس في الجسد. العمل هو عبارة عن نسيج انساني ملون، بوتقة صهر للثقافات، اللغات والوسائط لكنه يتوقف أيضاً عند الصوت الخاص، الشخصي والمميز لكل واحدة من المشاركات. معاً مضغنا وعكسنا ملامحنا وزدناها مرونة. سمحنا لشيء جديد بأن يتفتق من الأرضية الصلبة التي تُعرِف هويتنا.

Michael Getman, son of Dora and Zechariah, immigrated to Israel from Soviet Leningrad after a failed-plane hijacking by young Jewish dissidents to escape the USSR in 1970 – “Operation Wedding.” Michael examines and is curious about the relationship between our bodily actions, cognitive responses, the particular and the abstract, and the ability to respond to the ongoing demands of experience with a range of physical arousal and emotions. He is commissioned as a choreographer to create and share artistic experiences, utilizing various choreographic expressions. His works have been presented at various festivals and venues. Michael holds a Master’s degree (M.A.) from the University of Huddersfield, England. As a performer, he was privileged to work and interpret works by Ohad Naharin, Amanda K
