This evening is compound from two pieces moving through a dream dimension. Between reality and imagination:) A fruit of collaboration between the movement project together with Shahar Binyamini & Kenan Dinkelmann.
The Movement Project is a collective of dancers and artists founded and managed by Erica Rintovich in 2022. The members of the project create together original materials and also invite external choreographers to create together with them.
The project unites experienced dancers with lots of years on stage. We all danced with wonderful companies such as Bat Dor dance company, Kibbutz contemporary dance company, The Israeli ballet, Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Polak dance company, Dresden Semperoper Ballett, Siwic Project (Zurich) and more.
1. Under the skin – Shahar Binyamini
“Once upon a time, I dreamt I was a butterfly, fluttering hither and thither, to all intents and purposes a butterfly. I was conscious only of my happiness as a butterfly, unaware that I was myself. Soon I awaked, and there I was, veritably myself again. Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man.
Dream zone. All is possible.
Reality? Imagination? You will decide:)
2. Tenki – Kenan Dinkelmann (Berlin) and the movement project
The modern society and it’s intensive rhythm can sometimes throw us into alienation. When we are in that loop it’s hard for us to feel the mutual influence we have on each other as a collective. In TENKI, we illustrate the blind materialistic lifestyle of the western world and search for alternative ways of being together on this planet.
The dancers of The Movement Project energetically embody this search, each one of them in their individual way.
